About
NightclubTwoStep.org
This website is, and will always
be, a work-in-progress. The various social
dance styles are always evolving - always
changing, some faster than others. Nightclub
Two Step, because it is a fairly new dance, seems to
be evolving more rapidly.
I'll leave it to others to
document the evolution of their favorite dance.
As for me, my efforts center around my favorite
dance - Nightclub Two Step.
With the above in mind, and as
noted elsewhere on this website,
NightclubTwoStep.org is dedicated to the promotion
and preservation of Nightclub Two Step.
About Nightclub
Two Step
As a male dancer, I can say with absolute
certainly, that when a man dances Nightclub Two Step
with a woman, at least in some small way, he falls
in love with her. In my opinion that can
rarely be said of any dance. Nightclub Two Step, for me at
least, is the quintessential dance.
Nightclub Two Step is by no means
a pretentious dance. Its sheer simplicity
won't allow that. Unlike some other dances, it's a
dance that is easy to learn. When danced, even
with a marginal level of skill, and with the right
music and partner, it elevates the soul of the
dancer as no other dance can.
There is a place within each of
us, that when touched, allows us to see past the
mundane. When this place within us is touched,
it allows us a brief glimpse into the sublime.
When this happens to me, the
mundane seems to slip away. Time seems to slow
down. Sometimes it even seems to stop, and for
a brief instant, I experience eternity. I have
touched this place within me many times over the
course of my life, but in only two ways; in
meditation and while dancing Nightclub Two Step to
the right music, on the right dance floor, and with
my arms around the right woman.

It should be obvious at this point
that Nightclub Two Step is my favorite dance.
It should also be very apparent that in many places
on this website, I have expressed an opinion.
(and you know what they say about opinions)
So, if you see something that you don't agree with,
or something that I have on the website that is
totally wrong, I would appreciate hearing about it.
Please see the

I build and host websites for
dance organizations, dance studios, DJs, and dance

that endeavor
here. If, by chance, you are in need of a
website for your dance enterprise or dance
organization I would hope that you consider using my
